Should this still work with Xcode 4.4.1, and iOS 5.1 ?
The gcov files aren't generated under:
/Users/userName/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/AppName-blahblahblah/Build/Intermediates/AppName.build/GCov_Build-ip...
for me. Am I missing something?

This is a really cool trick, thanks a lot for sharing. One extra trick you can use is "undefined":
prop_semiringBool = isValidSemiring (undefined :: Bool)
prop_semiringInt = isValidSemiring (undefined :: Int)
prop_semiringBad = expectFailure $ isValidSemiring (undefined :: Criminal)

BTW. If you're interested in a much fancier system for testing type classes you can have a look at this Haskell Symposium 2012 paper:

According to my views to get release iPhone app is not that an easy task, one have to go through several process even after getting it developed to get released.

Found this post by searching HK Trail/Section 7/Dogs, I did a night hike last Sat and encountered what I think maybe the same dogs and even more, (To Tei Wan) it was two packs of dogs, one of 3 dogs and another of at least 8+. Note this was 5am in the morning and there was no one to come to the rescue. Luckily a cab passed by and I jumped infront of the cab...

I personally like downloading book apps for my kids. These books are very conducive for them since they come in an interactive and colorful interface. I think Angry Birds will never get old - even adults get hooked to it. It's just that addictive. =)

i am running on xcode 3.2.6. I have configured exactly as the post mentioned above. Xcode does generate .gcda files but i always get 0% coverage. Is unit test setup a must for showing coverage results?

I would also recommend parents to consider such educational iPhone app
for their kids as Kinder Hangman - http://sharkfuel.com/kinder... it
is an interesting iPhone game that is helpful for child development and allows
kids to learn new words quickly and effectively. Learning process is organized
as an interesting game with graphical themes and animations. Great app!
